Toyota FJ43 land cruiser project aspen by FJ company

successfully combining a traditional aesthetic with new materials, the ‘project aspen’ land cruiser SUV by toyota expert, FJ company, is now restored to its former glory. this luxury model of the timeless 4×4 is the ultimate utility vehicle for when it comes to off-road discovery.

the toyota ‘FJ43′ multi purpose vehicle originally took miners to work, children to school and was used for military applications. while not legal in some countries, most ‘J40′ series vehicles can have their roof and doors removed, with a folding windshield, creating a complete open-air experience.

the miami-based FJ company’s restoration of the vehicle’s long wheelbase, aggressive fender flares, and iconic headlight bezels keep the classic looks intact. adding to the timeless aesthetic, the exterior is finished in matte white paint, offset by matte silver accents and toyota OEM wheels in gunmetal grey. the hardtop is now replaced with a canvas soft top. the ‘project aspen’ also has a WARN ‘M8274′ winch mounted to the original front bumper with a pair of PIAA 7″ LED fog lamps, while a custom roll cage ensures every ride ends safely.

the ‘project aspen’s’ interior is cavernous and clean, blending ‘throwback’ style with modern refinements. its recaro front bucket seats are trimmed in marine-grade upholstery, complementing the door panels and fold-down rear seats. these also received a coat of rhino linings ‘bedliner’ to prevent scuff marks and rusting. a reverse camera is now fitted to help the driver’s viewpoint , while crystal clear audio also circulates freely throughout the cabin.
